If you can dream it, I can make it. If you have an idea for something you want made, I will work with you to create exactly what you want, something that will bring you joy whenever you look at it or use it. I have cultivated a range of skills in many different disciplines to be able to create pieces that are truly one-of-a-kind. In the interest of transparency, I believe clients should know the exact formula that is used to calculate the total price of their project. My standard rate is $50/hr + the cost of materials + $20 transportation fee.
When contracting for a custom project, there are two options:
I will estimate the cost of the materials and the time it will take to complete the project and send it along. If that is agreed upon, I will perform the work. When the work is done, I will compare the estimated time and materials to the actual work time and materials. If the actual work time is less than the estimated work time, I will adjust the final cost down accordingly. If the actual work time is more than the estimated time, I will use the estimated time for the final cost (unless there is a reasonable change in the project after work has begun that would result in more work time being expected or more materials required).
If a more expedient process is desired, I can begin work without estimating the cost and keep track of the costs of time and materials as they are incurred.
